The FEC Tech sanction and name screening department is responsible for building the new applications aimed at sanction screening or name screening. We are working on innovative IT solutions that ensure that Rabobank meets the requirements for sanction screening. In the past year, attention to this area has increased considerably and the requirements from DNB have been structurally increased in this context. To meet these higher requirements, we work together in high performing squads that connect IT solutions with all recent compliance requirements. We are looking for someone within the area of sanction screening who acts as a Technical Product Manager / Devops Engineer, specifically with high technical level. Supervising model validations and implementing findings published from MVs and internal audit is also an important task. He or she will be part of a DevOps Squad (consisting of 8 people), which is responsible for building the new applications aimed at screening.

Top 3 responsibilities
• Continue implementing target architecture solutions on both Global Transaction Filtering & Name Screening
• Designing solutions to complex problems with the Squads in and outside the Area
• Being a sparring partner for Product Owners, IT, Business, SAAS vendor and other stakeholders

The 50+ people in Global Transaction Filtering & Name Screening facilitate complex IT applications and processes to fulfil Sanction regulations. Working together is the way we work; as 1 technical area at Rabobank.

You and your talent
• Academic working and intellectual level (BSc or MSc degree, e.g. Computer Science).
• A broad experience with the IT-landscape in the financial sector. Preferable experienced on Compliance topics.
• At least 2 years of experience in similar function
• Practical experience with IT methods and applications (e.g. RiskShield, Azure Devops, GIT, Python, Ansible and containers (docker/podman)).
• Knowledge regarding databases/SQL , certificates, SQL, Linux, Python and RHEL.

Nice to have:
• Proven experience in IT-architecture principles and improving continuity of IT-services.
• Relevant experience with Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps, SAFe in the ICT sector and financial services.
• Good communicator: ability to talk to management, business experts as well as developers and other team members
• You have a pro-active mind-set and you take ownership
• Knowledge about architecting and developing maintainable and scalable software
• Good communication skills and a team player
• Experience in international IT projects English speaking and writing
• Curious, analytic, pro-active, determined, result driven and not afraid to share his/her opinion
• A good sense of humour and outgoing personality is welcome
• Relevant experience with Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps, SAFe in the ICT sector and financial services.
