The Project 
The first step of the project is to deliver an MVP to a small market segment so that the team can test & learn. The team will iterate in an Agile way towards a platform that is desirable to customers and valuable for Shell, with the eventual goal of scaling the platform globally. The Tech lead will lead the technical development of the MVP and lead technology strategy for the future programme of work 

What we want
Shell is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead product team. You will work closely with the Head of product, engineers, architects, and other department to enable the development of our new product. 

What you will do
• Be responsible of technology, architecture and operations
• Leading, managing and growing a team of engineers
• Work with lead designer and head of product to deliver a suite of e-commerce products
• Align with technical leaders to implement Shell's strategy 

Who you are
• Able to mix strategic and pragmatic approaches to drive product delivery
• Experience in leading an engineering team of at least 15 people
• You have a very strong technical knowledge in current web technologies, cloud services, and infrastructure
• A minimum of 10 years in supervisory experience
• Strong experience in delivering multiple global products
• Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus
• Experience with SAP products is a plus (SAP CX, Hybris commerce cloud, SAP Hana)
