Hiring a professional may seem simple at first glance: you have a task, you find a candidate, and you get started. But anyone responsible for external hiring knows there is much more involved. From formulating the request precisely to carefully offboarding the candidate. Every step counts. HeadFirst has designed the hiring process so that quality, speed and compliance are ensured at every stage. Not as separate links, but as one integrated chain.
Smart intake, better match
It starts with the request. An MSP consultant from HeadFirst contacts the hiring manager. Together, they discuss the task, the team context, the desired soft skills, and the selection criteria. It is also assessed whether the task is suitable for a freelancer, in accordance with the DBA Act. This personal intake ensures that the request is precise and realistic. This increases the chance of a successful match.

Sourcing with speed and precision
After the intake, the sourcing process begins. HeadFirst distributes the request through a combination of preferred suppliers, talent pools and an open marketplace. Candidates are automatically ranked in the VMS based on objective criteria such as rate and experience. The MSP consultant then conducts a personal pre-selection, interviews the candidates and compiles a top three. This is presented to the hiring manager with an explanation, allowing them to make a quick and well-informed decision.
Onboarding without fuss
Choice made? Then HeadFirst ensures a smooth onboarding. Thanks to the collaboration with screening partner Victoria ID, all checks - from identity to VOG - are carried out digitally and swiftly. Contracts are drawn up based on uniform conditions, tailored to the client. Suppliers and freelancers receive clear explanations about the process and can contact HeadFirst's service desk or legal specialists with any questions.
During the assignment: insight and support
HeadFirst remains involved throughout the assignment. Hours are recorded in the client's system (or via our platform Striive) and automatically processed in the VMS. Invoicing is done through a secure integration. Suppliers and professionals can track the status of their invoices in real-time. Additionally, performance is monitored through KPI reports and Net Promoter Score measurements.

Offboarding with an eye to the future
At the end of the assignment, HeadFirst carries out a careful offboarding process. The performance is evaluated with the hiring manager. Professionals with a positive assessment are included in talent pools, so they can be quickly redeployed for future requests. It is also checked whether the assignment needs to be extended and, if so, whether the terms are still up to date.
Quality as the common thread
What makes HeadFirst unique is that quality is not an afterthought, but the common thread throughout the entire process. By combining technology with personal attention, a hiring process is created that is not only efficient but also people-oriented and compliant. From request to farewell - every step is an opportunity to add value.
