Depending on your goals and internal capacity, choose central coordination, a vendor management model or outsourcing via Intermediary Management (IM). A well-chosen model brings peace of mind, efficiency and scalability.

4. Standardise processes and agreements

Ensure uniform conditions, unambiguous rates and clear agreements on responsibilities. This prevents arbitrariness, saves time and ensures honest, transparent collaboration with suppliers..

5. Ensure continuous monitoring and optimisation

A future-proof strategy is never finished. Build in moments to measure performance, evaluate risks and improve collaboration with suppliers. This is how you keep the model flexible and scalable. Think KPIs on lead time, cost development, compliance or supplier performance.
