Description Vacancy : As a Cloud Engineer for the Google Cloud Platform team, you participate in shaping our global cloud transformation. You make a difference and impact by driving the adoption of Cloud Native Application Designs within Rabobank adhering to bank's security framework and contributing to long-term Engineering Platforms goals. You work with the DevOps teams, and your role involves developing, managing, and maintaining the resources in Google Cloud Platform. Additionally, you drive automation through CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
Guiding the DevOps teams in secure application implementation, assisting their cloud journey, and sharing knowledge to boost team competence are also part of your responsibilities.

Expected Process, Technical skills, and capabilities
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant direction (e.g. IT/CS)
- Minimum of 1 Google Professional certifications (example: DevOps Engineer, Security Engineer)
- Comprehensive understanding of Cloud technologies and Cloud design patterns with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency with at least one or more programming/ scripting languages: Bash, Python
- Proficiency with one or more Infrastructure as Code tools: preferably Terraform
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) configuration, usage, and maintainability.
- Knowledge and experience with Security process and Compliance
- Experience with Risk management and Incident Response, Handling and Processing
- Knowledge and experience with commonly used Google Services such as Identity and Access Management, Secret Manager, Cloud Storage, Cloud Function, Cloud Pub/sub
- Skills to troubleshoot and fix issues in a running cloud application (preferred)
It is a plus if you also have:
- Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning,
- Other Google platform experience: Google Firebase, Google Play console, Google Analytics
