You will be part of one of the innovation initiatives within the Business Banking innovation team, focusing on the Netherlands and Belgium with the potential to scale to other countries.

The initiative:
The initiative is creating a disruptive trade finance solution for all kinds of companies. The envisioned end-state is a platform for Midcorps/SME’s to grow their business by redefining access to asset based finance products.

Your role:
As a Corporate Venture Builder you will be part of an existing innovation team consisting of 4 full-time members:
• Work with the Team Lead and other team members to develop a product vision, strategy and roadmap, as well as with ING Business Banking stakeholders and our Partners.
• Work cross-functionally to validate the value proposition and business requirements for building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and maturing this into a Minimal Sellable Product (MSP).
• Be responsible for customer satisfaction and lead the operations.
• Translate business-to-technical requirements, and vice versa.
• Plan for productizing and operationalizing the product.
• Prepare Marketing and Communication materials.
• Become a domain expert, deeply understanding the market landscape and players to have a clear vision on market potential and competition.
• Define and track success metrics.
• Work closely within a cross-functional team of business engineers, business analysts, UX- and service designers to implement the product vision.
• Work closely with our risk and compliance teams to ensure we meet the risk requirements of ING.

About you:
• You have a successful track record as a Product Manager, preferably with a mix of startup and established environments.
• You have experience in innovation and/or product development, preferably for service propositions/digital solutions in a regulated domain.
• You have experience in scaling digital services (including operationalizing and productizing validated products).
• You have knowledge and passion for B2B Finance propositions, preferably in Working Capital Solutions/Trade finance.
• You have experience with Design thinking, Agile, Scrum, Lean or PACE (ING).
• You demonstrate deep customer empathy and a solution-oriented mindset.
• You have strong cross-functional partnership and stakeholder management skills.
• You demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.
• You are a team player with a positive mindset, who is willing to get your hands dirty and is not afraid to go outside of your comfort zone.
• You are proficient in English. Dutch is a plus to make our targeted clients more comfortable during our interactions with them.
