As part of the Normally Unmanned Installations (NUI) offshore base crew, working on preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure safe and reliable gas production from the offshore gas facilities.
Work activities consist off but not limited to; electrical duties on high and low voltage installations including implementing safeguarding, instrumentation work and fire and gas testing.

Working within the Onegas NUI organization asks for flexibility. Crews will be placed onboard an W2W vessels and or Heli teams depending on the necessity at that moment.

Qualifications:

2. CompEx
3. Gyrolock
4. Knowledgeable to instrumentation (eg calibrating transmitters etc etc)
5. Basic knowledge of fire & gas system
6. Teamplayer and flexible attitude.
7. Willing to learn and develop.
8. Active participation in continuous improvement in liaison with the Work Preparer and Maintenance Field Supervisor.
9. Shell UK Electrical Safety Rule training certification preferable. (can be developed during the role)
10. Flexible to follow different NOGEPA courses like HLO/HDA, Banksman, First Aid, Coxswain freefall lifeboat.

The ideal candidate has experience with working on offshore production locations as electrician / instrumentation technician.

ONEgas has 35 normally unmanned installations (NUI’s) which account for ca. 70% of the production of the asset. In recent years ONEgas has changed the ways of working on the NUI’s by changing from helicopter access to the use of two Walk-to-Work (W2W) vessels.
The NUI team operates X-boarder (UK-NL)
Maintained equipment is critical for a safe and reliable production from the platforms. Aim is to maintain the equipment with high reliability at optimal life & cycle cost. First time right in execution and high scheduling compliance are important key results.
