Test automation specialist

You work in a challenging international environment with the mission to enable the bank to provide relevant financial services to our clients, so that we can Grow a Better World Together. You are part of a multidisciplinary squad that realizes the digital scanning, OCR and cognitive capture ambitions for Rabobank within the international wholesale domain, while closely collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE
The Cognitive Capture squad aims to provide user-friendly and valuable solutions for Rabobank client service teams working all around the globe. We help our colleagues to:
• Scan business documents into PDF documents with the scans as images
• Process the scanned documents to interpret the text on the pages (OCR)
• Use rule-based interpretation of the text to find the meaning
• Use machine learning of the text to find the meaning
• Understand which kind of document this is
• Filter out the relevant information from the document
• Store all the found information in various storage systems, including meta data

To achieve this, a digital cognitive solution called C-Cube has been created. C-cube is a collection of Azure cloud modules and has been created using Microsoft Power Platform. The current activities are focussed on adding new functionality and serving more (internal) users. As test automation specialist, you can play a vital role in assuring that the squad delivers bug-free software.

WITH EACH OTHER
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our team aims to bring talented people together to execute change and run activities for the C-cube product. As a tester, you contribute to both the stability, maintenance and further development of the product.
With you included, the squad will consist of about 5 diverse colleagues with a variety of skills and backgrounds. The squad’s main drivers are inclusion, value delivery, autonomy, transparency and fun. We achieve this by constant reflection on and experimenting with new initiatives to improve our processes and human interactions.

YOUR ACTIVITIES
• You are going to set-up and maintain a test framework. Rabobank has standard tooling for this, and you must be able to complement this with specialistic tooling from Microsoft for PowerApps;
• You will be instrumental in finding test use cases and placing these in the test framework;
• You see yourself as a part of the squad where testing and analysis is an integral part of the development process and you have no issues acting multidisciplinary;
• You take responsibility in identifying high-value needs and test requirements, modelling those into feasible, acceptable and high-quality test cases, and be able to document these properly for future references;
• You contribute and support the squad in achieving both product and personal development goals;
• You proactively participate in squad events, discussions and challenges regarding solutions and decisions;
• You strive for continuous improvement and are eager to share knowledge;
• You inspire and convince your colleagues with your test vision on sustainable solutions and work closely together with the software engineers.

• You have a good command of English;
• You are customer and value focused, with an eye for detail, but can also look at things from a broader perspective;
• You are vocal, energetic, not afraid to share your thoughts, and happy to learn from mistakes;
• You have a natural drive to dive into other disciplines within the squad;
• You are eager to learn on the job and simultaneously work on your personal development;
• You have great stamina and manage setbacks to find new routes towards results;
• You have experience with:
o Test Automation;
o Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Jenkins, Postman, Jmeter, TestNG, Maven;
o Azure DevOps pipeline CI/CD;
o Agile, Scrum and/or DevOps;
o Banking knowledge: have worked in a banking environment;
o You must be in The Netherlands.
