The new Subsurface and Wells (SSW) IT organization brings together teams that were previously separated in Upstream and PT IT. The organization will be interfacing with leadership in Upstream Exploration, PT Development, PT Wells, and IGB-New Business Development. This will include partnering with the business leadership and technology organizations to meet the critical reserves replacement and hydrocarbon maturation related goals for RDS. The SSW space represents one of the four key RDS Digitalization opportunities. With the large investment to develop and implement the new digital technologies, this organization will be working across the Business, PT, and IT organizations to design and implement robust IT solutions. Description: Scrum Master is responsible to effectively and efficiently manage the development sprints from planning to execution to review in an agile development environment. Your role will include running daily scrums, managing the product backlog, collaborating on requirement documentation, managing support tickets and unblocking barriers to keep the team moving. You will be responsible to communicate and collaborate primarily with the engineering, customer success and senior management teams. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong leadership abilities and have the desire to be part of a fast-growing startup company where you'll have the opportunity guide the development of our portfolio of products. 

Responsibilities: 

 Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective 

 Manage the engineering development projects and facilitates sprint releases 

 Create or analyze business requirements documents and project timelines 

 Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates 

 Drive team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders, protects 

 Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations 

 running at a high performance 

 Work with the team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocks 

 Accountable for the Project Management deliverables of projects as per Shell's Project Delivery Framework. 

That includes Project Management, project assurance, contracting & procurement, Financial and Resource Management. 

 Project deployment involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders (including partners/contractors & vendors) to effectively deploy the solution to end customer. 

 Responsible for the successful delivery of the complete project(s). 

That includes Business Process Analysis & Design, Business Change Management, Information and Data Management, and IT Development & Deployment as applicable. 

 Accountable for delivering the project scope which supports the business case, on time, within budget and fully compliant with internal/external standards (e.g. architecture, IRM, Assurance, etc…). 

 Mobilizes and manages the project governance and the project team, consisting of direct & indirect resources in multiple locations. 

 Responsible for the integration and dependencies with other projects and programmes. 

 Ensuring that an operational and sustainable solution is handed over to business and support teams. 

 Contribute to increasing project delivery effectiveness and continuous improvement. 

Skills and Qualifications 

 BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience 

 Minimum 10 years of project management experience and 5 years leading SCRUM teams 

 Demonstrable expertise of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
