About us
Within the Engineering cluster the software engineering department is responsible for the development of combat and information management systems for navy ships, integration with sensor- and weapon systems as well as the development of sensor processing applications. These complex systems are used world-wide by selected partners to protect and because we believe every person on this earth has the right to be safe. Our software is the heart of the systems used in critical situations where lives are at stake. Within the software engineering department and more specifically for the Platform team, we are looking for talented Agile Scrum Master with a passion for technology

About the job
As a Scrum Master you will work in multidisciplinary Agile teams. These teams develop and test the infrastructure platform for the combat management systems, the radar systems and the optical sensor systems. The development teams are responsible for the entire development chain – requirements analysis, development, integration, testing, validation and demonstrating the current status of the product. The infrastructure we are currently developing will be the basis for our products the next 30 years.

As Scrum Master you have knowledge of Agile principles and the Scrum process framework and knows how top implement these. You act as a mentor/coach and you are capable of getting the most out of the people in the team and the team as whole. The Scrum Master works as a facilitator, is pro-active and has the agility to react on changing circumstances.

About you
You are an experienced Scrum Master. Driven and result oriented. You drive for results by focusing on the human side and strengthen responsibility and involvement with your team mates. You initiate and guide changes to processes and cooperation if necessary.

You have experience:
With the steering, facilitating, motivating and coaching of Agile scrum teams;
The initiating and leading of process improvements
Strong communicator and able to receive and give feedback
Preferably you have a (software) engineering background
