Main tasks & responsibilities:

· Monthly project reporting: Create and process monthly project reporting file. Support controllers in monthly meeting with project managers.

· Monthly reporting: Follow up on data quality topics (re-bookings, data interfaces) to safe guard data quality.

· Monthly reporting: Prepare KPIs for departmental Scorecards and gather data from interfaces

· Master data management: Manage changes in master data and coordinate with central interface

· Forecast & Business plan: Support controllers in preparation of Forecast and Business Plan

· Ad hoc participation in BU / Controlling projects and strategic improvement initiatives

Education/Qualification

· University degree in a relevant field (i.e. controlling, economics, accounting or finance)

· Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

· Working experience in SAP (or similar package) and Power BI

Experience

· Minimum 3 years’ experience within business control

· Good business acumen and analytical skills

· Experience within the energy market is an advantage

· International exposure, working in corporate environments desired

· Experience in handling different stakeholders and aligning their goals

Skills, knowledge, strengths

· Strong team player, with the ability to influence over a wide network of co-worker relationships and work in multicultural teams

· Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing (English)

· Strong ability to structure, analyse and interpret financial and commercial issues

· Able to identify process improvements and lead them through to implementation

a high degree of flexibility (also looking into new upcoming tasks) is required

Location The location of this position is flexible (Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam). At the beginning it would be good to be at least 2 – 3 days in the Vattenfall office in Amsterdam. At a later stage this might be reduced. Position is not 100% remote.
