 The assignment

Combined role of product owner and functional analyst of a self-steering agile team (back-end team) consisting of data engineers, solutions designers and integration specialists which is responsible for determining and implementing the different architectural building blocks for personalization at scale within Vattenfall B2C, a strategic innovation program initiated by Digital Innovation.
Facilitates the team on an operational level, but also act on a more strategic level by working out concepts and new capabilities together with the team and different stakeholders based on the vision of the program for personalization. Is accountable for maximizing the value delivered by the team.
Next to that, you and your team work closely together with a team of data scientists and platform team with data engineers.
Tasks consist of:
•    Determining functional design (data products and software), together with the agile team and other stakeholders. Leading discussions with stakeholders about new concepts.
•    Developing user-stories and requirements, including functional description, non-functional requirements, application overview, description of data elements and flows, business rule overview.
•    Determining priorities for the agile team based on value.
•    Facilitating the team so that it can deliver maximum value.
•    Determining the roadmap.
•    Developing functional description of the business end-to-end processes for different building blocks.
•    Supporting business in configuration new SaaS solution for one of the building blocks.
•    Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business goals and support delivery outcomes.
•    Able to handle complex stakeholder management on different levels.
b.    Management and supervision
•    Does the freelancer participate in regular (team) meetings?
•    Is the freelancer free to determine his working hours and work location? If not, please indicate why.
•    Does the freelancer use company resources? (eg: Telephone, laptop, work clothes, car, etc.) If yes, please explain why.
•    Is the freelancer adjusted to the output of the project, or is the freelancer substantively controlled by the staff of Vattenfall?
•    Is the freelancer (periodically) substantively assessed by Vattenfall?
    •    He/she reports directly to VF program manager Florine Klop.
•    There are scrum events and workshops.
•    He/she will be product owner and functional analyst of the data/back-end scrum team.
•    Working from home most days or from the office is flexible.
•    Agreements will be made on results with the program manager which will be assessed on bi-weekly basis.
