UX Designer

As a UX Designer you will have an important role in improving the customer interactions with our digital platforms to reach our business goals. You have an important role in balancing the customer, our business goals and technology. As a UX Designer you will play a central role in promoting the mindset to ‘keep the customer in mind with everything we do’.
You will have a wide scope of responsibility and freedom and you will have the opportunity to experiment with new concepts in order to deliver what brings most value to our customers. You will be part of a cross-functional team and work close with other Designers, IT-colleagues, Business Product Owner, Business experts and off course Customers. You will focus on heat related content and functionality on our websites, mijnvattenfall and the app.

Tasks and responsibilities
• Research by collecting, processing, analyzing data, finding weak points in the product, suggesting ways to fix them and testing solutions with the users to get feedback.
• Create storyboards, user flows, process flows, wireframes and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Lead discovery meetings, design sprints and workshops together with Product Owners, developers, our customers and stakeholders to fully understand business requirements and customer needs
• Advocate the ‘customer standpoint’
• Collaborate closely with developers to clarify specifications.
• Make presentations to demo design approach
• Validate designs through usability testing and make suggestions for improvement.
Your profile as a UX Designer
• Diploma or Degree in Interaction Design and at least 3 years’ experience as a Research/UX Designer
• Have experience with different qualitative customer research methods
• Experience with Figma
• Used to work and collaborate with a design system
• You have a hands-on mentality to solve complex issues
• You have an Agile mindset and SCRUM way of working
• You feel personally committed to the goal setting and delivery of the team
• Fluent in Dutch language
