Position description
Within Viterra, we are looking for a program manager is in charge of a global program for internal control environment implementation under Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The global program is a continuation of a partly executed internal control environment program at head office (HO) with a scope change related to global SOX implementation. The program manager will need to “hit the ground running” and make improvements and adjustments while running execution.
Due to the criticality of the program, multi-departmental stakeholder management is a must. The position of the program manager is located between finance and IT and external parties. The program manager plays a vital role to connect and align all of them reporting to the program steering committee and part of the Viterra PMO. Contact and alignment with the regional and local offices is extremely important in an international context with Rotterdam as the Global HO.

Duties
The Viterra program approach aims to find a fine balance between showing program control and being flexible enough to quickly align with changing business requirements.
The program manager will be responsible for the following:
•    Ensure that the program objectives and control goals are achieved within the established project timeframe, guidelines/scope and budget;
•    Proactively manage the program by keeping track of all activities and objectives and able to prioritize tasks and drive timely oversight and escalation if needed;
•    Manage multiple simultaneous control rollout activities and ongoing tracking and reporting of each regional sub project;
•    Keeping oversight and challenge on the deliverables of external parties that play a role in program execution;
•    Ensure program documents are complete, current, organizational fit for purpose, distributed appropriately;
•    Proactively manage changes in program scope, identify potential issues/risks and devise contingency plans;
•    Develop and deliver progress reports, and presentations for program and steering committee meetings;
•    Writing program and project documents as part of our project portfolio process to ensure that projects are well prepared and documented to allow the program steering committee / project board to take decisions based on reliable and complete information.

Next to the Program Management role you actively participate in the global project rollouts in different regions. You actively contribute to further improve the maturity level on how we run, manage and communicate the projects. This role will report to the program steering committee for content and the PMO of Viterra for processes.

Required skills and experience
In this challenging and influencing role we require:
•    Prince 2 practitioner certified, IPMA-C or B;
•    Change management skills, be pragmatic and not bureaucratic;
•    Experienced in internal control implementation programs in an international environment where you are pro-actively keeping the stakeholders updated concerning accurate planning, budget and risks. These are considered “key” to be in control;
•    Masters degree; such as business administration, finance/economic or IT
•    Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar program management roles;
•    Proven experience in SOX implementation project(s) and good understanding of general IT controls; Knowledge of COBIT or similar frameworks is a plus;
•    Has a good understanding of COSO 2013 framework and its practical implementation;
•    Experience in international stakeholder management at different reporting levels;
•    Excellent communicator within business context;
•    Fluent in English language (spoken and written);
