Freelance Project Engineer Network/Firewall

Purpose:
The Project Engineer Network & Firewall is responsible realizing project deliverables. The Project Engineer Network & Firewall designs, configures and deploys solutions in the Network and Firewall environment, which includes LAN solutions, WLAN solutions, Firewall standardization, WAN solutions. The Project Engineer Network & Firewall Engineer will liaison with the Network team to adhere to Viterra’s standards and will align with the Project IT Security Engineers to make sure the solutions fit our security posture.

Position in the organization:
The Project Engineer Network & Firewall is part of the One Networking project team.

Knowledge, education, skills and experience:

Knowledge of the Network & Firewall landscape:
-    FortiManager
-    FortiAnalyser
-    F5 WAF, SSO and Load balancer
-    Fortigate Firewalls
-    LAN and WLAN

Must haves:
-    Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching
-    Cisco CCNA/CCNP
-    Fortinet Network Security Professional Level 4 & 5  or better

Preferable experience with automation:
-    Ansible Basics: Automation Technical Overview
-    Red Hat Ansible for Network Automation

3-5 years of experience in building enterprise networks.
