As an IT Project Manager for Vattenfall your role is to lead (international) IT project(s) of various natures through the whole of the Vattenfall Group. You are a naturally strong leader as well as a structured, driven and organized team-player with good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset. You have the ability to work independently and build relationships with other project resources and stakeholders on all levels. You feel comfortable in sharing your ideas, as well as being challenged in them.

Main tasks and responsibilities as an IT Project Manager:

Plan, execute, follow-up, and deliver IT projects according to or above customer expectations
Establish and coordinate international teams of project resources, actively bridging cultural differences
Establish and coordinate interactions with stakeholders (Business Management, IT management, Security Organizations, Solution Architects, other IT departments, external providers, etc.)
Customer Focus: Keep the end-user or customer's needs and satisfaction in mind throughout the project lifecycle.
Reporting to IT stream lead. Able to provide highlight reports
Project description:

Carveout of Business unit within Vattenfall towards a buyer. Scope is being finalized but will cover multiple areas

SAP ERP systems incl related SAP systems ( Like BW/ SRM)
NON- SAP systems ( like AutoCAD, GIS solutions, third party solutions )
INFRA/ Hardware/OT ( like Office 365/ SharePoint/ File share/ Azure )
Including estimated capacity in hours/week : 40 hours / week. Estimated period 6-12 months pending scope.

We are looking for a PM that can support with Non-SAP systems (highlighted above).

Skills:    
We are looking for candidates with:

Substantive experience from leading IT-related projects at different clients and deep/proven knowledge in the project management area such as stakeholder engagement, communication, integration of interfaces and dependencies, scoping, planning, negotiations, procurement, risk management, time budgeting and cost control, team building and performance etc.


Technical skills:
Understanding of IT Infrastructure components, Information Security Management, Data Centre operations . Familiarity with hardware, software, networks, databases, and other IT components.
Interest in cloud computing technologies e.g. MS Azure, Collaboration services and Active Directory
Proficiency with PM software (MS Project, JIRA, etc.) Knowledge of Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management software such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project
Programming and Development Knowledge: Basic understanding of programming languages and development processes.
System Architecture Understanding: Ability to understand system architectures and how different components interact.
Quality Assurance Knowledge: Understanding of QA processes and methodologies to ensure product quality.
Cybersecurity Awareness: Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for hosting and managing IT projects.
Soft Skills:
Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration and teamwork among project team members.
Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and circumstances.
Attention to Detail: Pay attention to small details while also keeping sight of the bigger picture.

Since we work in an international environment we expect you to be fluent in English (writing/speaking).
Candidates that have track records in carveouts are preferred and are a plus.
Previous experience in IT project management or related roles is typically required, with increasing levels of responsibility depending on the position.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects is highly valued.

Overall, a successful IT project manager should possess a variety of technical expertise, managerial abilities, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead IT projects to a successful completion.
